Dear Paul, Many thanks for your help and comprehensive advice regarding my Sister-in-Law’s State Pension. As explained, she has been left in difficult financial circumstances and we wanted to ensure that as a Widow, her State Pension was correct. We hadn’t a clue as to how State Pensions are calculated and we found the various information confusing and misleading. After talking to you, we were able to explain to my Sister-in-Law that her State Pension was correct. I can’t think of any ways in which you could serve me better. Clive Corbett and Deep Blue were recommended by a friend. Clive spent a lot of time and effort analysing and discussing my financial position to satisfy both of us about my requirements, before I authorised Deep Blue to go ahead with the investments on my behalf. He explained his suggestions in detail including the reasons for his choice of investment platform and made sure that I was aware of all the fees and risks involved. During the setting up of my portfolio, queries were always answered promptly and clearly by either e-mail or phone and I was given early online access to the chosen platform so that I could follow the setting up procedure. An excellent and personal service.

Campbell was very receptive to my deep distrust of Financial Advisers based on years of mis-information and loss. I was very honest about that at the start and he was very open and empathic about it. My biggest thing was transparency about who earns what from my pot. (I don’t mind paying if I can see how much is made and the “real” yearly bottom line) – this information seems very clear at present.

My feedback is in respect of Jamal Darweish. I contacted Deep Blue Financial earlier this year following an internet search. I was looking for some pretty basic financial advice. We retired in 1995 and until then we had always looked after the family investments but as we had accumulated a reasonable nest egg and as investment and tax implications were becoming more complex we decided that it was time to seek professional advice. This we did through a large company who appointed Andy Peters as our investment adviser. He reviewed our retirement needs and gave us a comprehensive report on how they could be achieved. By the time Andy had formed Deep Blue Financial Ltd in 1999 his advice had helped us to see our investments grow for 4 years so we decided to retain his services and moved our investment portfolio to Deep Blue Financial. This is a decision we do not regret as Andy has an in-depth knowledge of all sectors of the investment markets and with new and complex government legislation he has continued to give us sound advice which has resulted in a balanced and progressive portfolio. I was prompted to seek a Financial Adviser as I wanted advice on building a pension in a secure environment, I heard about Deep Blue Financial through a friend and my aim when contacting them was to build a secure financial future. After my initial meeting with Clive 10 years ago where we discussed my financial situation, I left feeling like a person who had been listened to. He came up with ideas and a plan that showed there was good potential to improve my pension and work towards my retirement goal.
