Meet the team

A committed and long-standing member of the Company, Katrina’s focus is on the smooth running of the Deep Blue office and the welfare of her staff. In her role as Office Manager, Katrina is responsible for the recruitment and supervision of the administration and Paraplanner workforce along with the interviewing and short-listing of potential Deep Blue consultants. Her dedication to Deep Blue Financial and her longevity as Office Manager mean that she is a highly respected member of the senior management team.
Katrina is very much a family orientated person with a wide circle of close friends. Specialising in cooking for the masses, Katrina’s house is never empty at the weekend! Her ideal lunch partner would undoubtedly be Michael Ball – he would definitely be welcome at her dinner table.

What do you enjoy most about working at Deep Blue?

I like that no 2 days are the same – it’s hard work but it’s rewarding.

Name one person you would like to be stuck in a lift with.

It would obviously 100% be Michael Ball but everyone has told me this answer is too predictable, so I would have to say Olly Murs (a young Michael Ball!)

Sarah is a long-standing member of the Deep Blue team and she has worked hard to progress through the administrative ranks to her current role as Compliance Officer. A particular strength is her product knowledge making Sarah a pivotal point of contact for case discussion with the Deep Blue Financial Advisers.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys socialising with her friends and work colleagues. She is very keen on home improvements and has undertaken several large projects over the past year.

The variety and challenges it provides, no day is the same!

Following a successful start as a Deep Blue Financial Administrator in January 2015, Caroline has rapidly progressed to a paraplanning role. Her previous administration knowledge and her ability to learn has enabled Caroline to establish herself as a valued member of the team.
Outside of work hours, Caroline enjoys cooking, going out for dinner and spending time with her family and friends 

What do you enjoy most about working at Deep Blue?

I enjoy the team that I get to work with and that we are all eager to help each other when needed.

Name one person you would like to be stuck in a lift with.

David Attenborough – I think he would have great stories to tell!

Lauren joined Deep Blue Financial as a Paraplanner in August 2024 having worked in Financial Services for 10 years.

Outside of work Lauren enjoys going to the theatre and exploring local historical attractions and National Trust houses.

What do you enjoy most about working at Deep Blue?

I’m looking forward to working on new challenges within this supportive team and continuing my studies towards the full Diploma.

Name one person you would like to be stuck in a lift with.

Paul McCartney – the things he could tell me about the 60s, Beatlemania and the stories behind their songs would be amazing and so interesting to hear.

Rebecca started working on our reception desk back in 2012 and quickly worked her way up to the Senior Administrator role in late 2014, where she supported the administration department. After maternity leave with her son, Rebecca became PA to the Office Manager in 2018.

Since returning to work in October 2020 after taking maternity leave with her daughter, Rebecca now works as a part-time Compliance Administrator alongside our Compliance Manager.

Outside of work Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband, and three young children, as well as socialising with friends.

What do you enjoy most about working at Deep Blue?

The Team, everyone at Deep Blue brings something special to the office dynamic, making each day feel less like work.

Name one person you would like to be stuck in a lift with. Denzel Washington – for his calming voice!

Jessica joined Deep Blue Financial in February 2019 as a Receptionist. She has progressed steadily through different roles and has most recently been promoted to Technical Administrator.

Jess looks after everyone and makes sure the office runs smoothly at all times.

Outside of work she enjoys watching the latest films at the cinema, spending time with her Cockapoo puppy Billy and planning her next holiday.. or two!

What do you enjoy most about working at Deep Blue?

The people and the friendships I have formed over the years.   

Name one person you would like to be stuck in a lift with. Jim Carrey because he’s hilarious and would keep me entertained for hours!

Paige joined Deep Blue Financial in May 2021 as Review Administrator, with over 8 years administration experience. In August 2021, Paige progressed to a Technical Administrator role 

Outside of work hours Paige enjoys spending time with her family and socialising with friends. Paige loves going on holidays, visiting new places and spent 1.5 years travelling the world with her partner.

What do you enjoy most about working at Deep Blue?

The working environment and the diversity of the role.

James Corden. He can sing to me and keep me entertained.

Jasmine joined Deep Blue Financial as a Review Administrator in August 2021 with a background in administration.

In her spare time, she enjoys going out for dinner, going to the cinema and spending time with her friends, family and two cats Pixie and Poppy

Jake Gyllenhaal because he would be lovely to look at!

Rachel joined the team in November 2023 as a Technical Administrator, having worked in Financial Services for 14 years.

Outside of work Rachel is a keen baker and enjoys family days out and trips away with her husband and daughter.

What do you enjoy most about working at Deep Blue?

I’m looking forward to fresh challenges and working within a supportive team.

Name one person you would like to be stuck in a lift with.

A lift engineer. Only joking, Ant & Dec – I think they’d provide the entertainment to pass the time!

Tom joined Deep Blue Financial in July 2024, and has been working in financial services for 6 years.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys going to see live music, playing and watching football, and running. He also enjoys travelling to new places on holiday with his partner.

I am excited to be joining an experienced team and progressing my career in financial services.

Bob Mortimer – I’m sure he would have some funny stories to tell to pass the time.

Rebecca joined Deep Blue Financial in January 2026 and has over 12 years experience within financial services and insurance. Outside of work, Rebecca likes spending time with family and friends socialising as Rebecca spent a couple of years travelling and working abroad and is loving being back home in the uk with her friends and family – Nothing beats home!

What do you enjoy most about working at Deep Blue?

I am loving being part of such a lovely team and the variety of the role and I am excited in progressing my career.

Name one person you would like to be stuck in a lift with. 

Will Ferrell as he is so funny and I’d make him quote my favourite films like Step Brothers or Elf to pass the time!

Having joined the team in April 2025, Sarah comes to us with 25 years’ experience. Mostly within Administration and Marketing and spanning a varied array of sectors including Super Yacht Surveys, CCTV & Security Supplies, Travel Retail & Duty Free, and most notably Travel & Tourism working for the largest Tour Operator across the globe.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys trying out new restaurants with her partner Paul, indulging in a Chablis or two with friends, travelling, and visiting her parents in Valencia.

What do you enjoy most about working at Deep Blue?

After such a warm welcome, I’m really looking forward to developing my understanding of the business and hopefully adding some value to the team.

Sophie joined Deep Blue Financial as an Administrator in January 2026 with a background in Marketing.

Outside of work Sophie enjoys going on walks, eating out at restaurants with her partner and going on holidays with her family and friends.

What do you enjoy most about working at Deep Blue?

The fact everyone is so friendly and supports each other. I am also enjoying that each day brings something new/different and I am looking forward to developing my career here.

Lee Evans because he makes me laugh so much and I know he would keep me entertained for ages!

Georgie joined Deep Blue Financial in October 2023 as PA to Office Manager with a background in Insurance.

In her spare time, Georgie likes going on fun days out, to the cinema and going for a girls brunch with her friends. Georgie loves also going on holidays and weekend getaways with her partner.

What do you enjoy most about working at Deep Blue?

The variety of my role. I never know what my day is going to look like which keeps me on my toes!
