Simon Garber -
After hearing him speak at a number of BNI meetings, I was encouraged to talk to Simon Garber of Deep Blue Financial about my pension arrangements. As I had a number of pension pots to which I was no longer contributing I sought advice from Simon about the best way forward in terms of consolidating those monies and achieving a better return from them.
Simon took away two large files of paperwork relating to the various pension funds and worked out what was held where. He then gave a presentation for me at his office, outlining my options, Each option was substantially backed up with well-researched information on its pros and cons. There were also impressive amounts of data on the performances of the differing funds and fund managers as we went into more detail.
Having agreed the best way forward as being a Self Invested Personal Pension, Simon was able to point mw in the direction of a particular scheme which offered flexibility without high charges. The fees payable to Deep Blue Financial and what I should expect in return for them were also made clear in his presentation.
Simon was able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the products available and present them in a balanced way. His research and preparation were also first rate. My new SIPP is now up and running and I would like to thank Simon for his help and advice.
